About Founder

Susan Stearns is the founder and principal consultant of Stearns & Associates Coaching and Consulting, a leadership development firm dedicated to helping leaders and teams achieve extraordinary performance through neuroscience-informed coaching, leadership development, and organizational transformation.

With more than two decades of executive leadership experience spanning Indigenous governance, economic development, non-profit leadership, and organizational change, Susan brings a unique blend of strategic insight, practical leadership expertise, and transformational coaching to her clients. She specializes in executive coaching, leadership team development, emotional intelligence, adaptive leadership, and change readiness.

Susan is the creator of the Stearns Neuroleadership Performance Systemâ„¢, an integrated approach that combines neuroscience, emotional intelligence, psychological safety, and leadership development to help individuals and organizations unlock their full potential.

Her passion is helping leaders move beyond reactive patterns, build high-performing teams, and create sustainable results through intentional leadership, meaningful relationships, and lasting behavioral change.
